When you using the iTunes to restore iPhone 4, occured the error 1601, 3194, 3004, 1004, 2005, how to fix? Following is a brief fixes.
Occurred an unknown error 1601
Find the Control Panel ==> Administrative Tools ==> Services, three services, telnet, messenger, terminal, select Auto, and click below application, click Start, click OK.
An unknown error 3194
Modify C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, you can use Notepad to open.
Option One: Add 184.108.40.206 gs.apple.com inside
Option Two: Add #220.127.116.11 gs.apple.com inside
Option Three: Add the following content inside
# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a ‘#’ symbol.
# For example:
# 18.104.22.168 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 22.214.171.124 x.acme.com # x client host
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
Note: Win7 users may not modify because of a permissions issue, right click on “Properties” of hosts; select your current logged on user, click “Edit”. Select your current user, find the “right” and check all , click application, and then OK. To modify the hosts.
These three cases can fix the error 1601, you can turn the test, until success, I have not met via these three plans still occur an error 1601.
Modified complete, please restart the computer and iOS device.
