sn0wbreeze v2.9.14 released by ih8sn0w together with iFaith 1.5.7. Download sn0wbreeze 2.9.14 directly from the link posted blow. This new version added an apticket validation for the apticket verification after browsing for iOS 5+ SHSH blobs in iFaith mode.
Since Cydia server rejected the iOS 6.0 – 6.1.2 blobs (causing soft-dfu loops), all users can not submit the iOS 6.0 – 6.1.2 SHSH blobs to Cydia Server, they can only submit iOS 4.x, iOS 5.x and iOS 6.1.3 shsh blobs to Cydia. But if you have previously saved blob to the local with iFaith, TinyUmbrella or of RedSn0w, then you can continue building a jailbroken iOS 6.1.2, 5.1.1 custom firmware to restore the device to the previous.
What is Sn0wbreeze
sn0wbreeze is a tool used to create custom IPSWs to restore, similar to PwnageTool. This no longer works on iPod touch 2G running 4.x.x. This is also a jailbreak tool. It is a GUI of XPwn for Windows written in C# (previously Visual Basic) and is developed by iH8sn0w. It is released under GPL v3 license, and previous versions source are available on GitHub, however this violates the GPL. Quote from theiphonewiki.
What’s new in sn0wbreeze v2.9.14
- After Cydia’s mishap with aptickets from 6.0 –> 6.1.2 (causing soft-dfu loops), sn0wbreeze now includes an apticket validation. It will verify the apticket after browsing for iOS 5+ blobs in iFaith mode.
- Added tethered support for A4 devices on iOS 6.1.3 (3GS old bootroms are untethered as usual).
