We all clear afc2add package is a must-have tweak for the jailbroken device. Today Saurik published a alternative for afc2add, Apple File Conduit “2” 1.0, which with full filesystem access on your jailbroken device. This package fixed the file list can not be read, and other installation issues.
Well What is Afc2?
Apple File Conduit “2” referred as AFC2, the package allows USB access to the filesystem on an iOS device. To put it simply, it’s what allows software such as iFunbox to access your iOS device when you plug it into your computer via a USB cable. If you have a need to access your device filesystem from a computer, then you need afc2add. However, please understand that AFC2 is considered by many to be a security hole: you might not want to provide full USB filesystem access.
Some AFC2 setups, in particular many that were installed by default with older jailbreaks (such as evasi0n for iOS 6) set a flag that allows this access to not require a “trusted” USB connection :/.
Installing this package will correct that mistake, and is thereby more secure than the “stock” from-jailbreak AFC2 configuration you may be using now.
The tweak is compatible with all iOS versions, including 7.1.x.
Apple File Conduit “2” 1.0 now available at Cydia Store for free. The guys who just got pangu jailbreak should install this package immediately. Please uninstall Afc2add package you previously installed so Afc2 can run better.
