A few days ago, TinyUmbrella updated to version 6.10.03, to add support for iOS 6.1.1 firmware. If you not prefer to jailbreak or did not jailbreak, you should without a doubt download the latest version of TinyUmbrella and save your SHSH blobs as soon as possible. You can download the latest TinyUmbrella 6.10.03 in the links below for your SHSH saving.
But soon, Apple released iOS 6.1.2 fixed some BUGs and battery issues, so now I think majority of device in your hands has been upgraded to 6.1.2, and fortunately, evad3rs dev team has considered for jailbreakers, the jailbreak tool evasion updated to version 1.4 for you jailbreaking 6.1.2 untethered. Unfortunately, the latest TinyUmbrella 6.10.03 not support to save iOS 6.1.2 SHSH blobs, 6.1.2 users can only let Cydia automatically backup SHSH through evasion jailbreak.
Although the usefulness of saving your SHSH blobs is becoming less and less, the possibility that a new exploit could be found to once again re-open downgrading is pretty high. It is better to save your SHSH blobs in case you accidentally update to a new firmware version and a downgrading solution is found requiring them, rather than missing out on the downgrade because you were too lazy to save your SHSH blobs. Furthermore, saving your SHSH blobs allows you to re-restore to the same firmware version you are currently running, when Apple stops signing it.
